- Youth volunteers at Camp Civitan foster enthusiasm, encourage participation, increase the efficiency of camp operations, and add to our campers’ overall experience.

- Description
Volunteers are particularly needed throughout the summer months. Volunteers are asked to:
-Interact with and befriend our members,
-Take on leadership roles and set examples for our campers and for fellow volunteers,
-Participate in camp activities (singing Karaoke, performing skits, assisting during rotations), and
-Complete responsibilities scheduled each day and help with activity setup.
- How to Apply
Step 1: Have a parent or guardian create an account on "UltraCamp. Once the account is created, add the volunteers to account. To apply for a volunteer session, filter the camp location to ‘Camp Civitan Volunteer’. You will then find all the available dates and select which one fits your schedule or interests the volunteers the most.
Step 2: New volunteers will need to take two additional steps before being confirmed for camp; schedule and complete an interview and compile two references. Volunteer Reference Forms can be submitted on UltraCamp or emailed to volunteer@campcivitan.org(Applications will not be processed until all forms have been received.)
Step 3: Attend an orientation.

We are currently offering weekly sessions for our 2024 summer camp season! Camps are from Monday-Monday and start May 28-August 5, 2024. Click here to view our upcoming sessions.
- Service Hours
Volunteers can earn 8 hours per day at Camp.
- Ideal Age Group
13 to 17 years old. *High school students 18 and over are welcome, but must obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (Fee: $65; Click here to obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card).

**UltraCamp Accounts must be made under the name and with the assistance of a parent/guardian. New volunteer applications will not be processed until all forms and references have been received.
